I really got to the point where I was truly unable to go to work, I would start having major panic attacks as soon as I got to the freeway exit. I left a lot of personal belongings in my office because I couldn't pick them up, or even speak to anyone on the phone from work. SSDI was truly a lifesaver for me. I don't know if I ever can work again, perhaps if I change my field, but at least I have breathing room. Best of luck with whatever you decide- judy
