I wonder sometimes how much my headaches are rebound headaches, and I'm just hurting things by taking the OTC pain relievers. I wanted to take biofeedback, but when I realized what their program entailed, I knew it would just frustrate me and anger them that I wouldn't be willing to do a fair bit of it. The nature of my job seems to require that I put in late nights sometimes, so if I keep my family time fairly stable, my sleep schedule will have to be erratic. And keeping my family time stable is important. And caffeine keeps me going when I'm depressed or when I have to put in long hours. So I don't really think I'm a biofeedback candidate, since it's a whole life change program.

They seem to come in groups though. The current group has already lasted a couple of weeks (I think - I'm lousy at time, and worse at keeping a journal or log), so they have to be ending soon.

Do you get the ones you wake up at, with the pain at the very very base of the skull? Even though those are some of the worst, with fully body sickness, I really suspect they have something to do with tensing while I'm asleep. I never get those during the day.

In the meantime, I've got an enlarged liver with elevated AST and ALT. They were trying to blame the depakote, but it preceded that. I kept trying to tell them it's probably the Excedrin. (Although my dad has the same thing only way worse, for no cause that they can pin down, so maybe not.)

Maybe if I can somehow get my worklife in order, I'll chance the biofeedback. I hate for docs to be mad at me for noncompliance, though.
