When you said Victoria did you mean Victoria BC??
My grandparents lived in Port Angeles, WA and when I was growing up we took the ferry to BC every summer. I have such fond memories of Victoria, the Totem Pole, wax museum and high tea at the Emporus Hotel. The flowers there are sooo beautiful. I'm now in Chicago and the cold & snow you were talking about in your post. It is snowing 3-6" tonight. Next time you go out, if you are in Victoria BC, will you do me a favor and blow a kiss in the air for me?? It has ben 20+ years since I have been there and I would like to think that I had the chance to kiss it hello again. Thanks for your warm thoughts.
