My husband was told by some native American that if he wanted to cure his chronic strep throat, he had to jump up and down 100 times in the shower every morning.
He has never had strep in the 20 years that I have known him until this year. I'd guess it's because he stopped jumping in the shower about a year ago.
I'd bet there's truth to the immune system theory.
