Going into my second decade with this, though, and having such a hard timne getting the right treatment and diagnosis (I am awaiting a proffesional psych consult), that these things could shield me from the deeper pain. I mostly suffer from extreme anxiety and deep social phobia, but I also happen to have my times where I can once-in-awhile be the *most* sociable person going. I also happen to think most of us have this potential..and I will keep others updated as to what I find does, and doesn't work.
