Hey Tina, Effexor definitely worked for me untill I found something to control the other directions my mood decided to go in. You know with being Bi-Polar and everything how they say that you're NOT supposed to give Bi-Polars AD's, like Effexor, without having a Mood Stabilizer added on. Well, Effexor was one of the first meds that really calmed down my anxiety quite a bit. Just be a patient girl and let it settle into your system first. The beginning was kind of rough on me. But it slowed the world down into a sort of jogging speed for me when everything seemed to be moving faster than lightening.So, here's wishing you all the luck in the world... it should definitely do something positive "if you let it"....
