When Prozac was loosing patent right I ask doc about the new pill that Lilly was producing for Premenstrual Dysfunctional Syndrome (I think it was called) and asked if he thought it had to do with decreased sale. Remaining professional us usual but with a hint of cynicism, he said when you loose big it's hard not to try to get back in the game. In his onion, he feels Prozac weekly is not a real good medication does not see himself writing prescriptions for it in the near future or for the med "suited" for women. He feels if the severity of symptoms warrants an ssri type med, all would do about equally well.
