Thanks, Dinah. I know you meant the best & didn't need to add the extra. You're kind hearted.
My Medusa is a very feisty girl - all snorts, snarls, & hissing AND I know she wouldn't forget the indignity of injections. But afterwards, she calms down from man-handling her. I know she doesn't understand what's going on, but with me speaking softly to her & little kisses while I hold her & give her treatments, she knows I'm not purposely being cruel. She just doesn't understand what the reason is. I have high hopes that she'll become used to the routine in time. Choosing a small gauge needle makes a big difference too. And I'm sure that dietary changes will make the sub-Q only a few times a week.
