I think it should change to the Relationships Board. There, you could discuss your relationships with family, God, friends, lovers, etc.
A group I used to attend would have a lot of regular meetings but they also had a relationships meeting twice a week. They were crowded meetings with a lot of laughter and sadness but few people missed them.
Since the regular groups talked about relationships, you wouldn't think a relationships meeting wouldn't be necessary. But there was a different focus in the R meetings which made them unique.
There was much talk of relationship with God, yourself or your dealings with people in general.
I think it might broaden the appeal of the Faith Board without watering it down or changing the intended focus.
If a poster wants only to talk about their religion, that's fine. Still, there will have to be guidelines but maybe things will lighten up a bit. Maybe more will see that their issues are many times of a spiritual nature or can only be helped with spirituality as a foundation.
The religion board can't be perfect but the basic tenets of all religion boils down to treat others as you would like to be treated. When you haven't learned that, you're asking for controversy.
If people keep the focus on themselves it would be easier. Maybe a Christian could say that she holds the belief that the only way to salvation is through Jesus but it's clear that it's their belief, not their agenda.
