those were my 2 favorite colors as a kid. My room was purple and red. I painted one wall with an abstract purple and red design. (My parents let me do it, but I'm sure it was a realtor's nightmare when the place went up for sale)
It would surely be great to join a club made for fun-loving irreverent middle-aged women, whatever the color choice.
