For some reason, I am remembering an interview on NPR with Studs Terkel about his latest book (I will have to look up the title). He had interviewed a bunch of cops and firemen. Anyhow, the beginning of the book is a story about a fireman who saves someone from commiting suicide from atop the World Trade Center a few years ago.will have to check that one out..
