The interview went well on Friday. Felt like they were trying to sell me on the job instead of getting me to sell myself to them! I suppose that's a good thing.
Went to my cousin's 18th surprise birthday party on Saturday night (my aunt & uncle live near Chapel Hill) and saw my grandmother (dad's mom). She asked if I had heard from my parents, who recently returned to North Carolina after a year and a half in Michigan. I told her that Mom had left me a message saying that they'd gotten home, but I don't even have the phone number where they are and it doesn't matter b/c I wouldn't call them anyway. They don't call me. And she said, "Don't worry, they don't call me either. Your parents are in their own little world."
My dad has always doted on his mother, but isn't even calling her anymore. My parents are crazy. I guess I get it honest.
Still feeling down.
