There is so much that is good in that poem, I hardly know what to say. Just want to express. .. a kind of awe. . .that such overwhelming feeling--grief, love, loss, ---could be so *crafted.* So beautifully crafted. The words themselves, the short lines, must be like the little bright bursts of memories the poet has. . .

And to be able to do this now. .. I have the strongest feeling, without really knowing. . .that this is your best, crowning, work. And it is clear, the poet in service of memory, but oh, in the poem, Sar is so timelessly. .. *alive.*
