Lou has a neurological disorder like dyslexia, it causes his spelling problems, but he's damn smart and communicates as well as anybody else.
I don't see how we can know whether we're interested in his thoughts on death until we hear what they are, even then, if it does nothing more than to help him to cope then why not? We know what happens to people when they lose their coping tools.
You are gentle, and I hope this didn't come off as confrontational, it feels like eggshell territory around here right now, and brings out the codependent in me.
