I'd need to know you face-to-face & better to let you know whether it's a good move for you or not, Emma. Hope you do enjoy it. It's not like all your bridges are burned behind you, or that you couldn't choose another path if it doesn't work out.
Maybe being a nanny for a while without academic pressure may give you a chance to gather yourself together to know what you'd like to pursue in the future. Keep us updated on your progress, please. Do you enjoy children? If you do, you may have some very happy times ahead. How old are the children anyway? Kids, when sweet, can shower you with unconditional love. My landlady used to be a nanny a few years back & the children still love her & visit regularly.
