Interesting - no, I didn't realise that there was a letter for the "th" sound.

How about people calling their daughters Caitlin & pronouncing it as kate-lin when it's real pronunciation is Kathleen. I've read of other pronunciations of it but a friend from Wales told me she always knew it as the Kathleen sound.
