Dinah,I have noticed similar things too. Another troubling(?) thing seems that the routine amount of jokes circulating through email have dropped off considerably. It seemed to be peaking before Sept. 11th, then it dropped, then it was jokes related to the terrorists, then all of the funny stuff just seemed to go away entirely. It is a little weird like everybody's waiting for the next shoe to drop, or they are worried about their jobs. Could also be we are nowhere near any holidays.
