I've been away for a while, and it's nice to see the "regulars" still here (and you know who you are!).
This vituperative epistle is dedicated to the two butchers at the John Dempsey Hospital (Farmington, CT) who butchered, abused and neglected my mother for 47 days resulting in her untimely death on December 6, 2001. What these two so-called "doctors" did to my poor mother was nothing less than Nazi medicine American style. How these two stay in practice is beyond me; however, the question was posed to MEDICARE, the State of Connecticut, the American Hospital Association, Senators Lieberman and Dodd, as well as eight malpractice lawyers; let these agencies and people find the answer, because I still don't know how or why my mother died. My mother suffered horribly from the multiple mistakes they made, ones they "confessed" to to me and my family.
"Bless me, Father, for I have sinned ... through my own stupidity, I killed a 79 year old senior citizen."
How else can I interprete their actions and statements as being pure "quackery"? The name "teaching hosptials" is is misnomer. People go there to die at the hands of amateurs.
All I know is this: these people killed my Ma, but not without torturing her first. For the last two weeks of her life, all she could say was "Help me! Help me!" I watched in horror of what they did to her, and despite my constant complaining and questioning, they totally ignored me. They are not men. They haven't a clue of what it's like to be "human."
After four weeks, I am still angry, severely depressed and grieving. I don't know if I can overcome, much less control, my emotions at this point. I'm compulsed to do something inappropriate, but I have to temper my actions.
Are you reading this Hager and Schulman? Are you current with your malpractice insurance premium this year?
You hear, read and see these horrors but they always happen to other people, not you. But no one is beyond reproach. No one is safe. Neither me or you.
I plan to put up a website honoring my mother. She died a martyr.
I apologize for this bummer news. I'm having a hard time and I need help.
