I am right there with you. Everyone is mostly "faking" it, as someone else said. They are all sweating over how they are going to pay for all the useless crap they buy just to impress others. There are so many poor families, people without, and they are made to feel bad by the damn yuppies who think they are something else.
Screw materialism....try to find some kind of happiness in your heart, and if you can't, or don't feel like it, that is o.k.too. It is not your fault.Peace...
