I've been wondering about this term. I've only heard it in the "suicidal ideation" context. Are there other kinds of ideations? And is it suicidal ideation if you're just thinking about catastrophic things happening to you, not planning anything. I've often wondered if that sort of, um, "fantasizing" (for lack of a better term) counted as virtual self-harm. Any thoughts anyone?? --p
