That is an easier bench mark than, "Do I feel good." After awhile, however, I feel you WILL be able to change the perspective, and it WILL become, "Yes, I do feel better today, and I feel better than the day before." It can be a slow and tiring process. Ask us for input, we can't help but jump in.

nice response, Pax, you're right, as usual. the question being, 'am i better than yesterday/last week,' rather than 'am i happy now?'unfortunately, for us bipolar I people, the question is: i was ok last tuesday, so am i as ok as i was that day? i mean, it keeps going back and forth, never getting better on an even trajectory. two steps forward, one step back.
my P.S. to JulieDealer (are you really a dealer? is what some of us are wondering?) - if you want input or information or support about a specific drug or drugs, go to the "Other Half" of this board, specifically Psycho-Babble. you're on Psycho-Social Babble, which, as Dr. Bob says, is for 'just' being social. plain vanilla babble (for drug info) is at:
best of luck to you Julie, please stay in touch,
