Oh Willow, I was very sorry to read about your dog. I get so attached to my pets... I have Siamese cats. When I lost one of my little boys a few years ago (from cancer), it broke my heart. He was so intelligent and had such character. I would throw runner beans for him, and he'd run afer them and fetch them for me, putting it on my feet. I used to put him on his side and push him fast and hard across the carpet. He loved it. He would jump up at the other end, run back to me, and collapse upside down on my feet for the next push. When I would eat my dinner, he would sit beside me begging for bits of meat, continually patting my arm with his paw. If I ignored him for too long, he would jump down under the table, and next thing I knew, this black paw would suddenly reach up from under the table, with one claw extended as he tried to hook something off my plate. When I was ill, he would spend the whole day in bed with me, sitting on my chest, patting my face with his paw. It was like losing a best friend when he died. I know how you feel, and you have a lot of sympathy from me.

Lisa
