Chris - Thanks, I had already passed this study on to our narcotics inspector (I have medscape psychiatry updates sent to my e-mail). She told that, basically, the only connection between those pharmacists that "dabble" and those that don't is that they all have pharmacy licences. You would never expect some of those who are addicted. It is probably more likely that stress plays a part, but not (seemingly) always.
Not to try to be holier than thou, but I see what abuse of these drugs does to people. I do not want to be one of those constantly lying and making up stories, in order to get a prescription early or get called on a double doctor. Also, I don't need the stress of being short when they count my narcotics and controlled drugs. I really don't think that there is anything "fun" about any of the drugs in a pharmacy.
