The humiliation of financial problems threatens to send me back down the hole. The mess is both literal and figurative, from the chaotic, debris filled apartment (I stopped caring about everything, including proper trash disposal, etc.) to the overdue taxes, to the delinquent student loans, to the lost friendships that withered away from neglect......shall I go on?
