Im not a guy but if my bf or husband were to gain a huge amount of weight after marriage I would be concerned, probably more about his health but I would help him by changing general household eating habits and do physical activities *together*. Marriage with physical conditions?! That's not right as far as Im concerned, if my husband married me and said, I will only marry you if you do not gain weight... Id slap him in the face! You either love her and accept her as she is or you don't. Personally Id try to get healthy together.

IMO the weight is not going to fix your marriage

I think you hit the nail on the head. It sounds like you need to be more accepting of yourself and be more confindent yourself to be able to be less perfectionistic and judgemental of her... IMO
