I think the contractor understood more that 6 months was an unreasonable time to spend on a kitchen renovation. And that neither my husband nor I were handling it well. My husband in doing the Fiddling while Rome Burns imitation, and me doing the Chrysalis wrapped up in an afghan imitation. Same stress, different reaction; neither effective.
So I would say more of the same.
