Re: ((( Dinah ))) Slightly different note

<<<Dinah>>>,

I found this discussion enlightening between the three of y'alls... »Dinah», your personal power is your ability to make a difference; you weren't shortchanged at birth by your mother's [enormous] power; I've witnessed your courage and clarity for 8 years now, and you never once disappointed me in that regard...

As you know, I complain about my awareness that I seem to have particularly bad timing... So, I best keep what I have to say, short and to the point...

I consider the differences between power and strength to be functional... You seem more comfortable with their interchangeability of function... Strength, I see best describes a person's ability to WITHSTAND (whatever the Universe throws at us)...

Power seems to be important at the end of a process, sort of a resultant... Whereas, STRENGTH in the beginnings of a process sets the stage for starting out durable, thus a person not to be messed with... Loud and quarrelsome are neither powerful nor strong as personality styles... Knowledge is true power and strength as durability leads to a person to be reckoned with...

In contrast to what you say, abdicating to your Mom's pioneering will, I never expect you to even flinch; you have the broad shoulders and the smart mind that let's us all see you as, "When the smoke clears, you'll be the last one still standing"!!!
