I miss it, too. I second what Dinah says; there were quite a number of people who posted because of crises in their therapy, and they did get almost immediate support from other posters who were st similar stages in their therapy and lives. Those ranks have gradually thinned out as those people have started feeling better, and there really aren't new replacements joining.
In a thread in "medications", uncouth implies that we may now look old-fashioned to new readers. It would be great if Bob were here to addresses this and help us get updated. (From my point of view, he did try to be more active a couple of times, posting about the 1,000,000th post and also about a possible party in New Orleans. Almost no-one responded, so he may feel, because of opposing views of how this site should be run, that he is less than welcome, even at his own site).
I think it would be great to put our past differences behind us, and ask Bob to be an active force again, minus the excessive warnings and blockings, of course. I think our experience in recent months has demonstrated that these are unnecessary, and have an adverse effect on posters' self-esteem. We do need internet leadership, though..
