Double edged sword...

Posted by llurpsienoodle on November 23, 2008, at 12:46:29

Well, on the one hand, I get 3 months of 2x weekly sessions paid for by my insurance, I believe with no copay.

On the other hand, I've been Dx'd with bipolar II and PTSD for the 4th time.

I never really asked my T what my Dx is, point-blank. He's skirted the issue by saying vague things like "Well, you have mood swings" "you have poor self-esteem" "you have a trauma history" "you've had reactions to your childhood" etc.

I guess I *knew* that he would have to put down something to request continuing mental health services from the insurance.

Pdoc Dx'd me with bipolar II. so THAT's no surprise, but that's pdoc's style.

T? however. :(

oh well.

I guess I should be thankful that someone gives a sh*t.
