I was thinking Harold would just show up at the new doc's office. Ideally this would be after Monk has made an attachment to the new guy. Sorry, I can't remember his name!
Maybe they could bump into each other in the waiting room, and Harold could tell Monk he had tried every other doctor in San Francisco, but no one was as good as Dr. Kroger.
OR there could be a new case for Monk to solve, maybe Harold is the one they think killed someone, and Monk would have to "save" him. And seeing how distressed Harold was, Monk would recommend his new doc only to regret it later.
