I have.

But the situation was somewhat different. My therapist had left, and I saw this one. When he was available again (not very available, but a bit available) I guess he didn't feel he had a real right to ask me to stop seeing her. And we worked it out in a way that she was an adjunct therapist.

Even so, it was not particularly helpful, I must admit. I saw why he was generally opposed to it. She was prodding on one direction, he was directing in a totally different direction. The mixed messages were not helpful.

I'm guessing at least one of them would have a problem with it, and force you to choose.

I do think it's worth exploring the idea with whatever therapist you choose.
