Llurpsie, I do think this was the best possible move for you and leaves you open for better opportunities. AND you got a new social contact out of the job, which is a great reward in itself. I hope that you're able to see that you've gained a lot overall with the experience, especially in learning how to set your own boundaries at work - this is something that takes some of us decades to learn! Brava to you.
