I've kind of missed the boat but better late than never :)
I love cats - I wish my T had a kitten I could play with (although then I probably wouldn't ever leave). What a lovely moment after all that stress, and thank goodness your cat came back and is safe.
I also see my T at his home, which works well for me - it's a more relaxed environment. In my case he hasn't such separate arrangements for family and clients, so on one occasion I was arriving just as his wife was returning from the shops on her bike. This I didn't mind as she was friendly and dispelled any awkwardness, but on one occasion when I've phoned to speak to my T she has answered the phone and that did make me feel uncomfortable.
