Spiderman 3 OMG

Posted by happyflower on November 2, 2007, at 20:46:12

I just watched Spidey and I was moved to tears, it was such a good movie. Some of the violence can be triggering, but the messages that were in the movie, special effects and the humor. WOW!

The reason I am writing about this on this thread is because one of the messages was

“Whatever comes our way, whatever battle, we always have a choice. It’s our choices that make us who we are, and we can always choose what’s right.”

I like this, it is so true, we can choose to overcome child abuse, but we can also choose to let the evil win. I am not going to let the evil win. But I also need to forgive my grudge I have, because it will consume me if I don't. I need to get the anger and sh*t out of me that my mom has caused. I need to forgive not for her but for me. I hope I can do this someday. I need to move on.

A very good movie about forgiveness, good vrs evil, and we may perceive someone doing evil (sandman) when it is someone actually trying to save their child's life. We must have to first forgive ourselves, the most difficult thing, before others will forgive us. Revenge will only ruin us. A lot of religion themes going on too in parallel. Putting others before yourself, don't become so stuck on yourself or have too big of an ego.
This movie is the best of the 3, I am actually going to watch it again. It has made me think a lot about life, past life, and stuff I want to talk about with my T. It also has me thinking of my old T too. I certainly didn't expect this from this movie.
