Is there some reason you don't want to shake hands with him?

I have to do this all the time in my work, and I don't think twice about it. Maybe I should. Lots of guys I see for evaluation are sex offenders, and so it is rather ironic that I actually shake hands with many of them, my having suffered csa. I don't do it unless they extend their hand, and I usually don't say anything when they refer to me by my fist name--just take note at the way they are being overly familier. It goes in my report as it says something about them.
