To Babblers

Posted by happyflower on October 19, 2007, at 10:03:51

I have read all your wonderful messages of support lots of times this week, it helped so much. It gave me a sense of comfort that someone really cares. I am just feeling too down and overwhelmed to respond to them, I hope that is okay.

They found out for sure that Baby L has a chromozone disorder and that her living past a week is very unlikely, she is on total life support now. So if both parents agree (one doesn't want to), they will take her off life support and allow the parents to hold her until she passes on. So very sad as this baby lookes healthy on the outside. I have pictures and she is very cute too. My husband says she looks at you and grabs your finger. It almost seems unreal to me. She just doesn't look sick.

My stepdaughter said she wanted my daughter to finish the quit as a rememberence of L. I think that is helping my daughter too, I told her that she can finish it when she feels ready. The funeral will be next week, this will be so hard for our family as we never had to deal with this before.
I have T on Monday, I don't feel like going, but I probably need to. I am not sure how I am going to get through this week, it seems so unreal.
