Hmm. My GYN told me that if you had a difficult puberty, then perimenopause was likely to be even worse. Which is what my experience is.
I am taking hormones, which help a lot, but I'm considering an endometrial ablation. That's a pretty big decision, though, and it's not clear that I wouldn't still need hormone support of some kind.
It's all so difficult to sort through and the medical opinions seem to change with the calender year :-(
