It's always a hard decision. I tend to follow my pets' lead, and if they're not in pain and seem to have some quality in their lives, I use the precious time to say goodbye. I've had regrets in both directions, in retrospect, although I always try to do what's best for them at the time.

There is no wrong answer in this. You love him and that's what's important.
