You are worried that your feelings of being loved by your T are just your transference, and that really she hasn't loved you at all? That is scary, isn't it?
You know, usually, though, we hear about transference going the other way. So, we'll think they don't care, or are judging us, or something like that. But that's just our stuff. I guess you're right, though, that thoughts about them having positive feelings for us might be transference as well.
I hope someone has something comforting to say here. My T once you told me that when you feel a connection with someone, it's real. There is some recent brain research that shows two people's brains being synchronized somehow when they're feeling a connection. So it's hard to imagine that.
I'm sorry you're having a hard time with this. I agree that it's hard stuff to think about.
