The past few days...

Posted by Gee on January 22, 2007, at 15:43:19

On friday, I had an appointment with my old t from last year. It's not like I terminated or anything, I just moved back for the summer, and then an exchange, and now I'm just nicely back here. The session didn't go amazingly well, but it was okay. We talked about the accommodations I should be getting here at the uni, and my frustrations around it and all that. She set up another meeting with the accommodations adviser person (who I'm not too fond of), and I wasn't exactly looking forward to it, but I was hoping she would be able to give me some information as to how I can help myself, and what's finally getting put in place

Two weeks ago with her, we left it at she was going to call my educational psychologist and talk about getting ammendments to the report so I can get the funding I need for extra help at school. Well I know she phoned, and I know my ed psych replied becuase the ed. psych told me she had. Well, so today, I go in, two weeks late, and I'm in her office for about a total of 5 minutes. The first 3 she read through my file and re told me that she doesn't have enough information to get the funding for a tutor for me. And then she told me she's going to phone and talk to the ed psych and all that. Oh and I signed a paper saying that she can talk to my mom and my t back home. Then it was, I'll see you tomorrow so you can come and sign letters for your profs that were suppose to be done on Friday. I am so frustrated. She is the only one at my school who does this, and I'm getting no where. I was just hoping for maybe a bit of support, instead of being passed over. It's hard for me to go out and ask for help like this. And she's not making it any easier. I'm just so frustrated and upset by all that's gone on...
