Back, and starting therapy with a new T

Posted by cubic_me on November 23, 2006, at 18:25:47

It's wierd coming back here after such a long break, but I couldn't handle reading about other people's therapy when I didn't have one of my own. I'm sorry for that.

I've been on a waiting list for over a year (British National Health Service) and finally got an appointment last week. I'm really not keen on the T, she's completely oversympathetic and she's fond of silence (I'm not). I've got no idea what to talk about and she doesn't ask me much. I'm on medication that makes me feel completely flat at the moment, which doesn't help I suppose.

Any ideas for settling in with a new T? TBH seeing someone new just made me miss my old T who was fantastic but has retired.
