It *is* hard to find a good one. Is there someone in the medical profession that you respect and could ask? Internists and psychiatrists usually keep a list on hand of people they refer to.

I found mine when he gave a public service type seminar. I'm not sure my approach was the best one. It was more that he was willing to see me.

Since good fit is so important, it might be good to consider interviewing a few. Do you know what type of therapist you're looking for?
