When I do use his name, he says he's learned that means that I'm about to say something very important. And when I do use his name, it's his first name.
It's funny, he just uses his first name on the phone.
But the infrequent times he's sent emails, he's signed his full name. Like I couldn't figure out who from that email address sent me the message with that content, and from his first name? Since I'm especially informal in email, and rarely sign my last name, it strikes me as both amusing and annoying.
