I commented above, but I thought I'd add that I am a T (albeit early in my career). I have my MA and sooooooon I will have my PhD. I absolutely care abt my clients. Sometimes they make me mad, sometimes I respond less-than-ideally due to my own stuff, but in the end I care abt each of them as individuals. As far as I can tell, my colleagues feel similarly.
