Hi All Done,
I would keep both appointments. Not that seeing you is work :) but maybe your T looks at it as sessions as usual, because neither is really a recognized holiday day off. I would be working if they weren't on a Saturday.
I think your T is fantastic, probably a little crazy, too, both are okay with me!
