It's hard... I think a trusted adult outside the family is the best person to explain this stuff. Parents are just too embarrassing!

I got my eldest a book called "Mummy laid an egg." It has childish drawings of people having sex on skateboards and suchlike! My friend's little girl made their priest read it to her...

But I think it's a little young for your son. Is there anyone you trust to talk to him?
