The book says that sitting that way exposes their crotch area; in other words: look at this

It also could mean that's just the way they are sitting (LOL); we all do things subconsciously; so there's no way to know for sure.

It also says that if they sit with their feet pointed towards you, that they are engaged-interested in what you have to say.
