Hi muffled, what is it about the way your T looks at you that bothers you? you say you feel like she's trying to read you, but is it more than normal conversational eye contact? they do have to tune into our body language, gestures, face, etc... it's all a part of communication, and the closer they tune in to us, the more they can help us. i'd say if your T is paying attn. to you, you might be luckier than some. on the other hand, if you T is making you uncomfortable, maybe you should discuss it.

my new T is very attentive, and i really appreciate that. i feel like what i have to say is important to him. BUT, if i ever cry in his presence, i'm sure i'll feel really uncomfortable, like i'm under a microscope.
