I think it is possible, I had years of counseling and most people missed my bipolar until my medical doctor caught it when I was 16. Then he still missed my ADHD until this last year. Then entering new counseling this year - I find out about the borderline, I see it in my doctors records, but he NEVER said anything to me!!! Never told me I needed counseling for this problem - that makes me very mad.
Yes it is very possible to not answer or understand questions properly to answer correctly.
