Emmy, I am sorry for your loss. Depression has claimed too many lives. In this time, take care of yourself and maybe you will have to avoid reading certain posts? I know someone who committed suicide too; he wasn't a close friend, but close enough for it to be devastating. He was a man with a tough guy kind of job, and I think that the pressure to be "grown up" and tough just made the depression worse, because he hid it from most people and avoided certain treatment options that would have "outed" the depression at his job. The irony is that at the funeral, everyone finally knew, because the way he did it was obviously intentional.
It's still sad sometimes not to see him in his usual spot in our group.
